Newspaper Article – William Nelson

Reference to the death of the late Mr William Nelson was made by the chairman of the Hawke’s Bay Swimming Centre (Mr John Mason) at the annual general meeting held in Napier last evening. He said that as president of the centre Mr Nelson always interested himself effectively in the sport of swimming. In his death the sport had suffered a very great loss.
