HINERUA.
[OWN CORRESPONDENT] The annual prize-giving in connection with the Hinerua School took place yesterday. The usual picnic had to be abandoned owing to the bad state of the weather. Refreshments were partaken of in the schoolroom. The prizes were distributed by Mr. G. Hunter, M.P., who also took all the children for a spin in his motor car. At the conclusion cheers were given for Mr. Hunter.
