SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING

AT THE REQUEST OF THE COMMITTEE A SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING WILL BE HELD AT THE CLUB PREMISES AT 5.30 P.M. ON TUESDAY 26TH JUNE 2007

BUSINESS:

1.  To consider and vote on the following Resolution

“That subscriptions for the year commencing 1 August 2007 be as follows:

A.  Ordinary Member  $ 350
B.  Country Members  $ 100
C.  Corporate Members
1 Ordinary subscription of $350 plus $200 for each additional member if all paid by one payment.

(NOTE: All subscriptions are GST inclusive and not subject to discounts)”

2.  Other Business of a general nature.

Hi Members

It is hard to believe it’s nearly half way through 2007. Your Committee has worked hard on trying to get new members, but it is proving difficult. We have now only 111 full paying members. Friday nights are reasonably busy, but we need more of you during the week.

A special meeting is planned for 26th June to discuss and vote on an increase in subscriptions. Our centenary is in 2014 and we want the Club to be viable until well after that. Your Committee feels it is the only way to survive.

We are having a mid winter dinner on Saturday 7th July. Invitation enclosed. The cost of $60 per person includes all drinks and a three course meal. RSVP to Meredith by 29th June 2007.

Last year it was a great night so pencil in the date and note that we can only cater for 70 people, so get in early.

Entries for the snooker and billiards competition are on the board – we want good entries please.
