Dear Sir
I realise that Rotary Clubs spend much of their spare time on Community Welfare projects and activities but imagine that you might welcome a proposal for a more social occasion which your members could share with their families.
The Hawke’s Bay Orienteering Club operate regularly at Te Mata Park, Havelock North and world be prepared to host a day there for your organisation, either alone or in conjunction with others of a similar nature.
Orienteering is a sport for both sexes and all ages and although it is the competitive side which receives most of the publicity, very many of our members pursue the sport in quite a leisurely fashion.
We would supply all the equipment and we would have instructors present to teach the skills.
If you are interested in arranging a Saturday or Sunday date later in the year or if you would like to have more information, please do not hesitate to ring or write to me.
Yours sincerely
George G Graham
