Postcard

Somewhere in France Dec 9/12/16

Dear Father,

Just a few lines to let you know that I am still allright. This card is a French idea of the British Tank which you hear so much about & the Germans you can see running away in front of it. Just keep the card as I think it is a real good one. I had a letter from Alex the other day & he has put a claim in for me to be with him & he thinks he will get me to [too]. Mit Taylor is here & he is a pretty hard doer he to is in the artillery. By jove Father I wish you had stopped Charlie this is no place for a lad I can tell you. Well Father Goodbye I hope you have a good time in your new home. From Will.
