POUKAWA OAKS

Reflecting the special nature of Poukawa Oaks, each block of land is known by name (rather than Lot number).

QUERCUS
6 ha of flat/slightly rising land, with magnificent views, sheltered by hills to the east, with a stand of Golden Poplars on the southern boundary. Quercus presents wonderful opportunities for keen gardeners, offering optimum soils and a north facing micro-climate.
Entry is from Te Mahanga Road.

THE LAKE
As its name suggests, this block has its own small lake, fed by the natural springs and creeks on the property. Numerous waterbirds live in the surrounding wetlands. You could create a magnificent water garden on this block overlooked by a perfect house site. The drive in to this 6ha is from Poukawa Oaks Lane.

CERRIS
6 ha newly landscaped with Cedars, Oaks and Leighton Greens. Fully fenced for deer, Cerris enjoys views of the surrounding tailored farmland, and is sheltered from the southerlies by a line of Pines.

ACORN
6 ha overlooking the mature trees of the Te Mahanga Homestead. The view also takes in Poukawa Lake and the settlement at Te Hauke. Acorn is rolling farmland, somewhat flatter at the front of the block.

TURKEY
Drive in from Cohrs Road. This 6 ha block is very sheltered, and once again the views are magnificent. Looking across to the snow-capped ranges in the winter, with Te Hauke Village and Poukawa Lake in the foreground. The pre-formed house site overlooks the Turkey property and offers possibilities of an extensive lovely garden.

PIN
This 6 ha block boasts what is considered one of the best views of Poukawa Oaks. Drive up your own limestone drive and take in the sweeping views from the sheltered and developed house site. Simply breathtaking.

WOBURN
52 ha of fertile limestone country for the serious farmer. Originally known as “The Cutting Range” the soils in this area are known for their ability to grow sound livestock. 32 ha of Woburn was planted in 37,000 GF16 pines during 1996 leaving the balance of beautiful rolling land to farm deer or horses. Woburn is fully deer fenced with stock water to each paddock. The sunny north-west facing house site has commanding views over the valley and hills with ample room for tennis court, swimming pool and extensive country gardens.
