POWELL, George Douglas Snr.
19.05.1920 – 26.01.2021
Born in Big Point Mississippi USA, he had a long life journey which ended in NZ at Reeve House, Mary Doyle with his loving wife Joyce by his side.
He was dearly loved by all his family in America, Margaret (Tom), Ruth and (Wally), George Jnr (Vauna), Thomas, Martin, Jeffery (Linda), Katy (Steve).
Also by his stepsons Malcolm Tibbles (Jay) and families in Hastings, Gavin (Angela) and families in Australia.
Loving grandfather to many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A special thanks to all the staff at Mary Doyle for there loving care of George during his stay with them.
A Service for George will be held at St Mark’s Church, cnr Park Road North and Queen Street East, Hastings on January 29, 2021 at 11am.
