Tote dat barge, lift dat bale – get a little drunk And you won’t get back-stage next year – or qualify for your first class bludger’s badge.
PROPS:
LLOYD JONES
Who has led the Bludger’s Brigade and “never has so much been acquired by so few at so little cost” – obviously trained by the “Boot Blacks” of Cairo.
SOUND:
MAX WEST
Probably the most accomplished sound operator in the district – has the ideal set-up in a broadcasting scene involving microphones, switches, and what have you!!!
STAGE MANAGER:
STEPHEN JAMES MCCONNELL
late of Dunedin and Invercargill – sitter for the Tin Hat “Hot Seat’’ next year – needs thawing out after a long sojourn in the freezing south – a noted pianist in the Southern districts as well as certain “bizarre” districts of Cairo. Have you heard of the Singing Wog. If the Show gets out of beat, blame the back stage boy – guess who???
CHORUS MASTER:
A. HECTOR NORRIE
the school children’s friend. We in Tin Hat, could not have been more fortunate in getting the ready assistance of such an accomplished and competent choir-master as Hec, who has given many hours of his valuable time and energetic co-operation in training all choral work in the show.
RAY “P.W.” DALTON
Who could have been a sitter for the “Bag”, First class and Bar. Made his original stage debut in the “Stalag Hot Shots.” No doubt his English accent was inherited through listening to the B.B.C. verboten “snooze” bulletins.
RON “The voice” PARKER
The only man big enough, loud enough, – you judge his looks for yourself – who could fill the bill for that guy everyone loves – the Sergeant Major. This is Ron’s stage debut, but a brilliant future is forecast for him in further Tin Hat Revues.
