PRESIDENTS WELCOME

I am indeed pleased to welcome you to tonight’s performance of The Frivs Minstrel Show. This is the first time in 87 years of existence, that our traditional Minstrel Show has been staged in our own theatre.

In keeping with current trends, we felt it was a logical move to present The Minstrel Show in this Restaurant Theatre format, following the three years of highly successful “Radio Times Shows”.

I am sure you will all have a great night out, with good music, singing, comedy and dancing, together of course with our usual high standard of cuisine and hospitality.

We look forward to your future attendance to our other major productions. The pantomime “Jack and the Beanstalk” will be performed here in November, and our “Radio Times Show” is to be presented again in March 1984.
