HAPPY DAYS

Happy days are here again, the skies above are clear again.
Let us sing a song of cheer again, happy days are here again.
All together shout it now there’s now one who can doubt it now
so lets tell the world about it now, happy days are here again.
Your cares and troubles are gone there’ll be no more from now on.
Happy days are here again the skies above are clear again,
Let us sing a song of cheer again, happy days are here again.

Powder your face with sunshine, put on a great big smile,
make up your eyes with laughter, folks will be laughing with you in a little while.
Why don’t you whistle a tune of gladness, blue never was in style,
The future’s brighter, when hearts are lighter, smile, smile, smile.

When you’re smiling, when you’re smiling, the whole world smiles with you,
When you’re laughing, when you’re laughing, the sun comes shining through,
But when you’re crying you bring on the rain, so stop your sighing be happy again, keep on smiling co’s when you’re smiling the whole world smiles with you.

LEANING ON A LAMPOST

I’m leaning on a lampost at the corner of the street in case a certain little lady comes by Oh me, Oh my I hope that little lady comes by.
I don’t know if she’ll get away, she cannot always get away, but anyway I know that she’ll try,
Oh me, Oh my I hope that little lady comes by.

FANLIGHT FANNY

She looks swell in the lime, a queen all the time you get your monies worth, by day you’d say
it’s her second time on earth. And every morning at the break of day, they call for the empties and they cart her away Fanlight Fanny the frowsty night club Queen.

I’m looking over a four leaf clover that I overlooked before,
One leaf is sunshine, the second is rain, third is the roses that grow in the lane and there is no need explaining the one remaining, It’s somebody I adore, I’m looking over a four leaf clover,
that I overlooked before.

Put your arms around me honey, hold me tight, cuddle up and cuddle up with all your might,
Oh, Oh, won’t you roll those eyes, Eyes that I just idolise.
When you look at me my heart begins to float, then it starts a rockin’ like a motor boat.
Oh, Oh, I never knew any guy/girl like you.

SECOND HALF SING-A-LONG WITH HEATHER

Oh we ain’t got a barrel of money, maybe were ragged and funny
but we’ll travel along singing our song, side by side.
Don’t know whats coming tomorrow, maybe it’s trouble and sorrow,
but we’ll travel the road, sharing our load, side by side.
Through all kinds of weather, what if the sky should fall,
long as were together, it doesn’t matter at all,
when they’ve all had their troubles and parted,
we’ll be the same as we started, just travelling along,
singing our song, side by side.

If you knew Susie like I know Susie, Oh, Oh, Oh what a girl,
There’s none so classy as this fair lassie, Oh, Oh Holy moses,
what a chassis, we went riding she didn’t fall, from the Country,
I’m the one that has to walk, if you knew Susie like I know Susie
Oh, Oh what a girl.

THE SHEIK OF ARABY

I’m the Sheik of Araby. Your love belongs to me.
At night when you’re asleep, into your tent I’ll creep.
The stars that shine above, will light our way to love,
You’ll rule this land with me, the Sheik of Araby.

Strolling just strolling in the cool of the evening air,
I don’t envy the rich in their automobiles, for a motor car is phoney,
I’d rather have shanksies pony, when I’m strolling, just strolling
with the light of the moon above.

Every night I go out strolling and I know my luck is rolling
when I’m strolling with the one I love.

Nice people with nice manners but got no money at all
they’ve got such nice habits they keep rabbits but got no money at all.

Their Father keeps their Mother, their Mother keeps their Brother,
and when they’re running short of cash,
they borrow from each other, cause they’re nice people with nice manners but got no money at all.

If you have a pedigree, mix in high society,
you will cultivate a lot of fame, but I know a family,
never had a pedigree, but they have a most distinguished name.

They call them nice people…

Here’s to the good old whisky, mop it down mop it down,
Here’s to the good old whisky, mop it down mop it down,
here’s to the good old whisky, it makes you kind of frisky,
here’s to the good old whisky mop it down.

Rolling home rolling home by the light of the silvery moon,
A Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha and a He He He He He,
here’s to the good old whisky mop it down.

Let’s have another one, before you leave me, we’re having so
much fun, parting will grieve me. There goes the band again,
everythings right, singing is so much fun, let’s have another one,
before we say good night.

For tonight we’ll merry merry be for tonight we’ll merry merry be,
for tonight we’ll merry merry be, tomorrow we’ll be sober.
Tomorrow we’ll be sober.

Here’s to the good old beer, mop it down mop it down,
Here’s to the good old beer, mop it down mop it down,
here’s to the good old beer, it never makes you queer,
here’s to the good old beer, mop it down.
Rolling home, rolling home, by the light of the silvery moon,
A Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha and a He He He He He,
so here’s to the good old beer mop it down.

Run Rabbit, Run Rabbit, Run, Run, Run,
Run Rabbit, Run Rabbit, Run, Run, Run,
Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang goes the Farmers gun
so run rabbit, run rabbit, run, run, run.

Run Rabbit, Run Rabbit, Run, Run, Run,
Run Rabbit, Run Rabbit, Run, Run, Run,
Don’t give the Farmer his fun, fun, fun.
He’ll get by without his Rabbit Pie,
so Run Rabbit, Run Rabbit, Run, Run, Run.
