Programme 2006 – Cre8ivus

cre8ivus

HB 2006

creative fibre festival
national fashion parade

1

INTRODUCTION

Art, craft and fashion meet head on in cre8ivus – the National Fashion Awards of Creative Fibre. Not only have the contestants designed and created wonderful fashion garments but they have used some amazing skills to create the fabric itself.

Exuberant textures and luxuriant colours combine with traditional craft techniques, modern technology and couture workmanship to produce classical, classy, zany, modern and avant-garde designer fashions.

‘cre8ivus’ brings to you the very best creative fibre techniques that have been used to create the ultimate in fashion.

We would like to acknowledge and thank all designers who submitted work, our talented, young Wearable Art students, winners from previous Creative Fibre Awards who have kindly lent garments, the expertise of our selector Rowan McLennan, our multi talented compere and show director Colin James, as well as our sponsors, front of house team, models, stage manager and the backstage team who have contributed to bringing you this event.
