Ernesto and Norina, who will soon realise their love dream, at a fooled Don Pasquale’s expense, sing their mutual affection.

Literally ‘a furtive tear’ – Nemorino is singing to his desired love who is “an old friend” only – in her eyes.

Janette   Mon Coeur s’ouvre a ta voix   Samson & Delilah   Saint-Saens
Delilah, after luring Samson to her room, sings seductively of the powers of love in an endeavour to ensnare Samson.

Ray   Il lacerato spirito   Simone Boccanegra   Verdi
Fiesco sings sorrowfully that his daughter Maria has died. He rages against the absent Simon Boccanegra and then accuses the Virgin Mary of not protecting his daughter. After realizing that he has committed blasphemy, he prays to her, hoping that she will forgive him.

Miranda wonders if these feelings could be love.

Tamino is about to undergo his trials which he may not survive. He and Pamina sing their farewells while Sarastro, the high priest, asks protection for Tamino, but urges him to get on with it.

All proceeds raised are for Camp Quality & Takapau Lions community projects.

Lauretta is having a tantrum because her Father won’t give in to her and give her the inheritance so she can marry her true love.

Janet   Signore, ascolta   Turandot   Puccini
Liu pleads with Calaf not to attempt to answer Turandot’s fatal riddles.

Ray   Ah un foco insolito   Don Pasquale   Donizetti
Don Pasquale is delighted with the news of a young bride and fantasises about the half dozen children he will have with her.

Ileana/Janet   The Flower Duet   Lakme   Delibes
Lakme, the daughter of the high priest, and her servant Malikka are about to embark on a boat and float down the river Ganges with their flowers.

Calaf says no one will sleep tonight because they will be trying to find out his name – to allow the Princess to back out of the arrangement to marry him. He is sure he will be victorious.

‘this is the day’ Louise has run away with her artist lover to his Montmartre quarters – because of her parent’s opposition to his proposal. Finds herself blissfully happy.

Ileana/Patrick   O soave fanciulla   La Boheme   Puccini
Rudolpho and Mimi have fallen in love at first sight. They express their new feelings to each other and set off arm in arm to reach Rudolpho’s friends at the Latin Quarter.
