RADIO ADVERTISING AT WILL AGREEMENT

To Station Manager,
NAPIER

My/Our estimated minimum commercial advertising time requirements (to be purchased at current rates) for station   during the twelve monthly period dating from the first day of   1.10.73   to the last day of   30.9.1974, will be   260   minutes.

It is agreed that the following discount provisions shall apply:-

1.   A discount of…% per annum on current rates in accordance with the schedule hereunder shall apply during the period

2.   The discount shall be allowed monthly on the amount calculated at current rates payable in respect of advertising time purchased for that PROVIDED that a discount for the first month of the period shall be allowed only if this agreement is notified to NZBC HEAD OFFICE, Wellington prior to the last week of that month.

3.   If commercial time purchased by contract for broadcast during the period exceeds the above nominated minimum, the appropriate higher percentage discount provided in the schedule hereunder shall be allowed by way of retrospective adjustment at the end of the period.

4.   If commercial time bought by contract for broadcast during the period does not reach the above nominated minimum the rate of discount shall be adjusted to the rate appropriate and any excess discount allowed in advance shall be recoverable by way of surcharge at the end of the period.

5.   If during the period the commercial time purchased indicates that it is unlikely that the nominated minimum will be reached the Corporation shall have the right to adjust the rate of discount unless the advertiser can satisfy the Corporation he intends to meet the nominated minimum.
