PALMERSTON NORTH – NAPIER
Empty trains between Hastings and Hastings Racecourse must be pushed cautiously.
Ticket Clerks and Assistant guards, etc., will be provided as arranged by S.M., Napier.
Holiday Excursion Tickets to Hastings from Dannevirke, Mangatera, Ormondville, Takapau, Waipukurau, Waipawa, Otane, Pukehou, Poukawa*, and Paki Paki* and Ordinary Return Tickets (second-class) from Tomoana and Whakatu to Hastings Racecourse will be supplied, having the date printed thereon instead of being date-stamped. S.M.’s concerned to see that tickets are to hand in time.
S.M., Napier, will supply guards with Tomoana, Whakatu and Awatoto tickets. S.M., Hastings, will provide for Paki Paki: S.M., Waipukurau, will supply guards of Nos. 642, B40 and B6 trains with Pukehou and Poukawa tickets; and S.M., Dannevirke, will supply guard of No. 650 train with Mangatera tickets.
Holders of ordinary or holiday excursion tickets will be allowed to break journey at Hastings Racecourse (Show Grounds).
Mr. A. Watson, Traffic Inspector, Wellington, will act as Officer-in-charge at Hastings Racecourse.
Trains other than those provided for in this Train Advice may, on 23rd October only, be run between Hastings and Hastings Racecourse under Tablet by arrangement between S.M., Hastings, and S.M. at Hastings Racecourse.
The Goods Sheds at Port Ahuriri, Napier and Hastings will be closed on 23rd October.
Guards to report on Mis. 7 particulars of passenger traffic on all trains on 23rd October between Palmerston North and Napier.

RETURNS OF BOOKINGS.
SPECIAL returns of bookings are required as follows: Nos. 642, B40, B6 and 650 trains on 23rd October, each train separately.
Each day’s bookings from Napier, Awatoto and Farndon to Hastings Racecourse to be shown separately.
