NEW SEASON’S RECORD IN SHEEP AND LAMB PROCESSING

MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN
Today we have created yet another milestone in the Company’s history by exceeding the previous record of sheep and lambs processed in any one season.
In 1914/15, the first year of operation, we processed 123,900 sheep and lambs, and whilst this total was subsequently steadily improved upon, a seasonal total of 1,000,000 was not achieved until 1958/59. The two million mark rapidly followed and the peak of 2,147,572 was reached in the 1969/70 season.
Now this record has also been passed and on behalf of the Directors and Management I take very great pleasure in extending my appreciation to all who have assisted in so many ways in making this season’s achievement possible.
