Peacefully on 7th December 2023, aged 88 years.
Loved husband of Margaret, father and father in law of the late Paul & Marie, Susanna & David Todd, Juliet & Chris Flanagan and Andrew, grandfather of Elsa, Hugh and Zana, Charlie, Kate and Hamish, Matthew, Rosa and Margo, Tom, Ben and Sophie, brother of Joan Paterson and the late David.

At John’s request a private service has taken place.
