RICH, David John.
8.3.1927 – 24.3.2009.
Peacefully at Bramlee House, Mary Doyle, Havelock North.
Aged 82 years.
Dearly loved husband for 55 years of Mary.
Much loved father and father-in-law of Diane and Paul Muller, Bryan and Denise, Fiona and Craig Smith.
Dearly loved Pop to his grandchildren Hayley and Darren (UK), Rowan, Ashley, Gemma, Bevan, Alysha, Kelsey, Hannah and Merryn.
Loved younger brother and brother-in-law to Murray and the late Audrey (Omokoroa), Enid and Derek Rixon, Colin and Glenis.
Special uncle to Craig, Catherine, Jan, Wendy, Vivienne, Kim and the late Gillian and Andrea.
Best mate of Doug and Joyce Perry.
“We love you and you will be sadly missed. Your witty little remarks and humour brightened everyone’s day l” Many thanks to the staff of Bramlee House for the loving care and for making his last month a time for us to treasure.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to Cranford Hospice may be made at the service or posted to PO Box 8119, Havelock North 4157, and would be gratefully received.
The funeral service will be held at St Lukes Anglican Church, TeMata Road, Havelock North on Saturday March 28, 2009 at 10am.
Private cremation to follow.
