ROGERS, Melvin James (Bill).
On Sunday, October 26, 1997, at Napier Hospital.
Beloved husband of the late Mary Florence Rogers, father and father-in-law of Marie and Dick Normile (Blenheim), John and Tracy (Australia), stepfather of Diane Roberts (Hastings), Tim and Mary Herd (Dannevirke), Alf and Chris Herd (Dannevirke), Tony and Joan Nelson (Wellington), Grandy of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family wish to thank Summerville Rest Home for the loving care extended to Bill during his stay with them.
The funeral service for Bill will be held at St Peter Chanel Catholic Church, Gordon Road, Hastings, on Friday, October 31, 1997 at 1pm, followed by interment at the Hastings Cemetery.
