Peacefully, at Cranford Hospice, Hastings, surrounded by his whanau, on August 14, 1998.
Aged 65 years.
Loved husband of Jean Hineuira (deceased), loved father, step-father and father-in-law, of Barbara and Gary, James, Rachel, Trevor, Clarry, Steven, Lionel and Nadia.
Loved brother and brother-in-law to all his brothers and sisters, and cherished uncle to all his nieces, nephews and mokos.
Pene will be lying at the Waipatu Marae, where his funeral service will be held on Monday, August 17, 1998, at 11am, thereafter to the Whakatu Urupa.
