Life Member of the Hawke’s Bay Branch of the New Zealand Contractors’ Federation (Inc).
Dearly loved husband and best friend of Valda, for 64 years.
Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Trevor and Deborah, Jan and Ashley, Rowan and Louise, Bryan and Su.
Respected former father-in-law of Jill Smith and Louise Cameron.
Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Des (deceased) and Thelma, Joy and Jeff (deceased), Sharron and Ian, Davina and Mark.
Special brother-in-law of Reg (deceased) and Elaine (deceased), Ivan and Claire, Lorna and Tony (deceased), Myra (deceased) and Errol, Les (deceased) and Robyn, Bob, Peter, Gordon and Yvonne.
Respected uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Treasured member of his wider family.
Adored grandad of Julia and BD, Katie and Brett, Anna and John, Sarah and Gareth, Daniel, Amanda, Kristie, Aaron and Claire, Michael and Chloe, Simon and Serena, Ben and Mel, Emmalee and Neil.
Doting great-grandad of Henry, William, Ruby, Isabel, Tommy, Corbyn, Daisy, Jacob, Seth, Ella, Oliver, Rockie, Scarlett, Harry, Ava, Charlie, Dylan and Hugo.
A dedicated family man, loyal friend to many and such a gentleman.
Special thanks to the staff at Cranford Hospice, Duart Hospital and Dr Dykes for all their care and compassion.
A celebration of Len’s life will be held at the Havelock North Function Centre, 30 Te Mata Road, Havelock North at 1pm on Monday, April 15, 2019, followed by private interment at the Havelock North Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Cranford Hospice would be much appreciated and can be left at the service or by contacting Cranford directly.
