Formerly secondary art teacher, head of School of Art and Design Goroka PNG, exhibitions officer Robert McDougall Art Gallery.
Council member Art Gallery and Museums Association of NZ, committee member public relations ICOM, regional chairman 1980 South Pacific Festival of Arts PNG.
Leisure activities include music, painting, travel, angling.
