Educated Hastings High School; Pharmacy College of NZ, Wellington 1957-60 – MPS, PhC 1961; Canterbury University 1962-64 – Bachelor  of Arts 1965; Otago University 1965-67 – Bachelor of Divinity 1968.
Formerly parish minister North Invercargill 1968-71; Stokes Valley 1971-78, Havelock North 1978-86.
Awarded 1990 Commemorative Medal for services to NZ.
Leisure activities include photography, golf.
Address 39 Collier Avenue, Karori, Wellington.
