THAWLEY, Michael David (Very Reverend).
On June 3, 2009 at Nurse Maude Hospice, Christchurch, aged 70 years, dearly loved husband of Dorothy, loved father, father-in-law, and friend of Jane and Jamie Atkinson (Wanganui), Sarah and (Beijing), Stephen and Mel (Masterton), loved grand-dad to Jack, Chester, and Verena, loved son of the late Harold and Edna Thawley, brother and brother-in-law of the late Barbara Donnelly and the late Martin Donnelly, Pat and Ralph Wichers (Wairoa), David and Helen Thawley (Reno, USA).
Loved uncle and great uncle of all his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Restorative Justice Services, Otautahi, 151 Hereford Street, Christchurch.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at The Knox Presbyterian Church, Bealey Avenue, Christchurch, Monday June 8, at 1pm.
A private cremation will follow.
