THOMPSON, Alexander (Alex).
Of Norsewood.
On August 8, 1998, at his home, with his family.
Loved husband of Joan, loved father and father-in-law of Vivienne and Arnold Leigh (Auckland), Peter and Earline (Palmerston North), Rae and John Powell (Auckland), loved Grandad of Maren, Ian, Hamish, Kane, Joanne and the late Richard, loved brother and brother-in-law of Fred, Marie, Ernest and Olga, Jim and Gwen and the late David, Cecil, and Victor.
Aged 84 years.
No flowers by request, donations to the Cancer Support Group, C/- 14 Hamlet Street, Dannevirke, would be appreciated, and these may be left at the Church.
A service for Alex will be held in St Mark’s Anglican Church, Takapau on Wednesday, August 12 at 11am, followed by private cremation.
