Senior Lecturer in Biochemistry, Otago University.
Born Hastings 20 September 1949.
Educated Karamu High School, Hastings; Massey University 1968-72 – Bachelor of Science (Honours) 1972; Oxford University 1972-75 – Doctor of Philosophy 1975.
Treasurer NZ Biochemical Society.
Current research interests: regulation of energy metabolism in mammals in relation to disease processes.
Director, Board of District 15, Altrusa International; delegate to National Council of Women.
Leisure activities include golf, Ornithological Society, Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society.
