Educated: Mahora Primary School, Hastings; Hastings Intermediate School; Hastings Boys’ High School; Victoria University, Bachelor of Arts 1965; Christchurch Teachers’ Secondary College, Diploma of Teaching 1966; Young Leaders grant to USA 1986.
