On June 14, 1985, dearly loved husband of Leta, 15 Campbell St, Havelock North, dearly loved father-in-law of Glenys and Lloyd Welch (Napier), Maxine and Graeme Turnbull (Reporoa), and loved Pop Sam of Angela, Grant, Simon and Mark, loved brother and brother-in-law of Rona McCarthy MBE and Les, and loved uncle of Karen Campbell (Hastings).
His funeral service will be held at St Matthew’s Church, Hastings, on Monday, June 17, 1985, at 2pm, thereafter private.
Flowers respectfully declined.
In gratitude of his care, Sam’s wish was that donations for Cranford Hospice be received in the church foyer, or may be posted to Box 119, Havelock North.
