Education: Napier Boys’ High School, Otago University Medical School, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (NZ) 1939, Fellow Royal Australian College of Physicians 1961, Fellow Royal College of Physicians 1970.
Appointed Visiting Physician, Napier Hospital 1946, Senior Physician 1952, Physician in Charge, Cardiology Department 1954, Consulting Physician Wairoa Hospital 1960, Physician in Charge Chest Clinic, Napier Hospital 1963; President Hawke’s Bay Division British Medical Association 1951; member Rotary Napier, 1946-59, President 1963, District Governor’s Area representative 1968-69.
War service: NZ Army 1941-42. RNZAF 1942-45, British Solomon Islands.
Published: papers in various Medical Journals including Israel Journal of Medical Science.- Ischaemic Heart Disease; Hypertension and Coronary Care.
Recreation: golf, boating.
