THE YEAR’S ACTIVITIES AND GENERAL INFORMATION

MAY 29th:   Presentation Evening held In Mr AJ Hoy’s woolshed for Mr & Mrs LL Brown.

OCTOBER   School Committee joined Napier-Hastings School Committee Association.
Infants Room enlarged by removal of corridor and re-floored. New shelves and cupboards in Senior Room.

NOVEMBER   Extra 5000 gallon tank erected for the school house.

Infants visited the Fire Station, Library and Cornwall Park, Hastings. Aquarium and foreshore in Napier.
Sewing machine purchased.
Regular film evenings discontinued.
New motor mower purchased.
Pram purchased for the Infant’s Room.
The Infant’s Room held a ‘Waiwhare Boat Day’ in the swimming baths
