GATHERING SONG:

HERE I AM LORD

I, the Lord of sea and sky, I have heard my people cry.
All who dwell in dark and sin My hand will save.
I who made the stars of night, I will make their darkness bright.
Who will bear My light to them? Whom shall I send?

Here I am, Lord,
Is it I, Lord?
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go, Lord,
If you lead me.
I will hold your people in my heart.

I, the Lord of snow and rain, I have borne My people’s pain.
I have wept for love of them. They turn away.
I will break their hearts of stone, Give them hearts for love alone.
I will speak My word to them. Whom shall I send?

I, the Lord of wind and flame, I will tend the poor and lame,
I will set a feast for them. My hand will save.
Finest bread I will provide Till their hearts be satisfied.
I will give my life to them. Whom shall I send?

TRIBUTE:   – Bro. Basil / Maureen

FIRST READING:   – Romans 14: 7-12   – Bernard

PSALM:

THE LORD’S MY SHEPHERD

THE Lord’s my shepherd, I’ll not want,
He makes me down to lie
In pastures green: He leadeth me
The quiet waters by.

MY soul He doth restore again:
And me to walk doth make
Within the paths of righteousness,
E’en for His own name’s sake.

YEA, though I walk in death’s dark vale,
Yet will I fear none ill:
For Thou art with me; and Thy rod
And staff me comfort still.

MY table Thou hast furnished
In presence of my foes;
My head Thou dost with oil anoint, And my cup overflows.

GOODNESS and mercy all my life
Shall surely follow me:
And in God’s house for evermore
My dwelling-place shall be.

SECOND READING:   – 1 Cor 13: 8 – 13   – Teresa

OFFERTORY HYMN:

HAIL QUEEN OF HEAVEN.

HAIL Queen of Heaven, the ocean star
Guide of the wand’rer here below
Thrown on life’s surge, we claim Thy care
Save us from peril and from woe.

Mother of Christ, star of the sea,
Pray for the wanderer, pray for me.
O gentle, chaste, and spotless maid,
We sinners make our prayers through thee

Remind thy Son, that He has paid
The price of our iniquity.
Virgin most pure, star of the sea
Pray for the sinner, pray for me.

HOLY, HOLY:

CONSECRATION ACCLAMATION:
Christ has died – Christ is risen – Christ will come again.

LAMB OF GOD:

HYMN DURING COMMUNION:

BE NOT AFRAID.

YOU shall cross the barren desert,
But you shall not die of thirst.
You shall wander far in safety,
Though you do not know the way.
You shall speak your words in foreign lands,
And all will understand.
You shall see the face of God and live.

Be not afraid. I go before you always.
Come follow Me, and I will give you rest

IF you pass through raging waters in the sea,
You shall not drown. If you walk amid the burning flames,
You shall not be harmed.
If you stand before the power of hell
and death is at your side.
Know that I am with you through it all.

BLESSED are the poor,
For the Kingdom shall be theirs.
Bles’t are you that weep and mourn,
For one day you shall laugh.
And if wicked men insult and hate you
All because of Me,
Blessed, Blessed are you.

FINAL HYMN:

HOW GREAT THOU ART

O Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder
Consider all the works Thy hand hath made,
see the stars, I hear the mighty
Thy power throughout the universe displayed,

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee;
How Great Thou art, how great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee;
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

WHEN Christ shall come with shout of acclamation
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow in humble adoration;
And there proclaim, My God, how great Thou art!
