WARD, Dr Edward (Ted) CNZM.
Aged 84 years, died peacefully at Christchurch Hospital ICU surrounded by his children.
Cherished father of Anne-Maree Ward, Christopher Ward, Sarah Powney (nee Ward), Patrick (deceased) and Father-in-law to Barry Ward, Diane Campbell-Ward, Mark Powney.
Dearly loved brother (Ed) to Sr Margaret RSM (deceased), Monsignor Patrick (deceased), Norah, and Michael (deceased).
Loved brother-in-law of Peter Koorey (deceased), Michael Koorey (deceased), Margaret Faulkner (deceased), Tom Patterson (deceased), Mary and Noel Colquhoun, David Koorey, Alan Koorey, Pauline and Richard Wild, Alan Faulkner, Jean Koorey.
A loved and special Uncle (Ed) of Michael, Jane, Kenneth, Mary, Susan, Thomas, Richard, Michelle, Jane (deceased), Erin, Claire, Angela, Olivia, Matthew, Antony, Karim, Monique, Fleur, Cervantee, Cavaan, and many great nieces and great nephews.
Beloved grandfather of Niamh, Alessandra, Ted (Edward), Luke, Venus, and Patrick.
Survived by the mother of his children Anne.
May he rest in peace.

A Mass for Ted will be celebrated at John Rhind Chapel, 19 London Street, Richmond, Christchurch, Wednesday 18th October, at 10.00am, followed by a private cremation.
