WHITTLE, William Robert.
17.12.1922 – 28.01.2011
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at HB Regional Hospital.
Dearly loved husband and friend of Shirley and the late Mary.
Loved and cherished father of Cynthia Bowers, Ewan McGregor, Lorraine and David Keighley, Alison, Shirley Whittle, and Donald McIntosh, Mark and Leah Whittle.
Loved grandad of his 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Loved and respected step father of Ian and Helen, Alister and Kerryn, Charles and Anton, and 7 step grandchildren.
Bill’s Funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 11am, at St Columbas Church, 176 Gloucester Street, Taradale.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance may be left in the foyer of the church.
