Wong, Merlin Death Notice 2009

WONG, Merlin.
Of Havelock North.
Passed away on Wednesday November 18, 2009 suddenly but peacefully at Wellington Hospital surrounded by family, aged 81 years young.
Dearly beloved husband of Molly.
Cherished and respected father of Debbie and Derek, Neville and Lisa, Andrew and Michelle, Jeremy and Anita.
Loving and treasured Yeh Yeh of Max and Carly, Nathan, Zachary and Mei Li.
Loved and respected brother and brother-in-law of Allan and Yun Ngor (late), Dora (late), Colin and Shirley (late), Jessie and Norman, and Roland.
Loved and respected brother-in-law of Charlie (late) and Daphne (late), Margaret and David, Paul and Nancy, Allan and Maylin.
Sincere thanks to Wellington Hospital ICU and cardiac teams, and the doctors who looked after him including Dr Jim McGiven, Dr Dave Mason, Dr John Eames and Dr Richard Luke.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart Foundation may be made at the service or posted to P.O. Box 55 Napier would be appreciated.
A service to celebrate Merlin’s life will be held at Hastings Baptist Church, cnr Karamu Rd South and Lyndon Rd East, Hastings Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 2 p.m.Followed by a private cremation.
