Harold Russell

Mr. HAROLD ARTHUR RUSSELL, Captain of the Hawke’s Bay Polo Club and Master of the Hounds for the Hawke’s Bay Hunt Club, is the eldest surviving son of Sir William Russell, and was born at “Flaxmere ” homestead on the 29th of January, 1871. He was educated at Wellington College and Bradfield College, near Reading, England at which latter institution he remained for six years. Mr. Russell return to New Zealand in 1890. Mr Russell married Miss Eva Nelson, daughter of Mr. William Nelson, and has one son and two daughters.
