re October Exhibition

The firing is over and we have put together some pots for the above Exhibition. We have decided to show Containers for flower arrangement – we shall be showing pots at the Cultural Centre at the same time as your showing – and we do not wish to duplicate the pots we shall have there.

I have enclosed some rough sketches for the interest of those who wonder how to go about arranging some unusual containers (as a guide only).

We shall be away from home during the Exhibition so may we deliver the pots to you early? About September 17 will be the latest date for us.

I am enclosing a pamphlet on the kiln history. This has been our last firing – for sure! We still love the whole process and the results – but the effort required is too much for us (especially the wood preparation).

Have fun with the pots and we wish the Exhibition every success for our friends.
