Newspaper Article 1893 – Nelson-Grant

To-day there were two weddings. This morning Miss Mary Violet Grant and Mr. William Henry Nelson, of Hawke’s Bay, were quietly married at St. Mark’s church, the Rev Mr Coffey performing the ceremony. The two bridesmaids were Miss Marion Grant, sister of the bride, and Miss Fanny Menzies, the best man being Mr Montague Nelson, of Hawke’s Bay.

After the ceremony Mr add [and] Mrs Nelson left for Hawke’s Bay, which is to be their future home.
