WOODVILLE WIN DIXON CUP.

AN EASY VICTORY.

On Saturday afternoon, a rink of local trundlers, comprising Messrs R. Bly (lead), S. Aim, Rev. W. B. Cuming and H.P. Horne (s), journeyed to Feilding, where they engaged a rink of bowlers, Canon Petrie (lead), T. Simpson, C. B. Aitken and W. H. McLean (s), of the Oroua Club, in a match for the Dixon cup. The game, which was played under ideal conditions, resulted in a decisive win for the Woodville rink by a margin of 26 points, the score being 32 points by six.

The new holders of the cup are to receive a challenge this week from the Feilding club.
