Newspaper Article 1992 – Pottery tour

Pottery tour: More than 150,000 people saw an exhibition of 10 Hawke’s Bay potters held in Hastings sister city, Guilin, in China. It was the first New Zealand pottery exhibition to go to China.

The exhibition was also the first international display organised by the cultural trust.

Hawke’s Bay potters who contributed to the exhibition were Ingeborg Jenssen, Liz Earth, Mandy Linwood, Gary Hebley, Bruce Martin, Estelle Martin, Chloe King, Gaeleen Morley, John Lawrence and Keith Robinson.
