Pots accepted for Fletcher

Hawke’s Bay potters Bruce and Estelle Martin have again, both had pots accepted for this year’s prestigious Fletcher Challenge Ceramics Award opening at the Auckland Institute and Museum on July 25. The international ceramics exhibition has attracted 975 entries from 47 countries. Canadian potter John Chalke has judged the work and will announce winners at the opening.

Bruce Martin’s Three Cubes of Melting Ice and Estelle’s Evening Sundance, both works accepted in this year’s Fletcher.
