Miss Enid Falkiner, whose engagement to Mr. Eric Nelson, of Hawke’s Bay has just been announced, has followed her sister’s example in choosing a New Zealander for a prospective husband says a Sydney Correspondent. Miss Lucy Falkiner married Mr T. C. [J.N.] Lowry. Miss Enid is a keen sportswoman. Several of her racehorses have won races at picnic meetings. Another family sporting association was the marriage of Mr Lowry’s sister to Mr. A. P. F. Chapman, the English cricket captain. Still another sister married Dr. R. H. Bettington who is well-known in New South Wales cricket circles.
