WELLINGTON CUP DAY AT TRENTHAM: SOME OF THOSE WHO ATTENDED THE OPENING DAY OF THE SUMMER MEETING

The Wellington Racing Club’s Summer Meeting opened at Trentham on Tuesday of last week. The Wellingon Cup was won by Padishah, who finished attractively to win well from Catalogue and Tiger Gain. There was a very larger attendance,  and many visitors were present from Wanganui and Hawke’s Bay. The day was fine and summer fashions were popular with the ladies.
