Group Theatre wishes to record its appreciation of the work and dedication of the members of the Cast. Mary and Gillian have been travelling from Napier to rehearsals and Elizabeth and Marjorie from Havelock North, so “Sister George” has certainly been the focal point of their lives over the past weeks.

“The Killing of Sister George” is James Morgan’s sixth major production for Group theatre, his last production for our society being “Under Milkwood”.

Following this production he starts work on that great musical “Fiddler on the Roof” for Napier Operatic Society.

Group Theatre’s next Production will be

“DARK OF THE MOON”

by Howard Richardson and William Berney.

Penny Waddell is the producer and will hold auditions in March, the production being scheduled for May. Thirty good character parts are available in this production with an age range of 16 years to ??

Why not come along and become involved in Group Theatre’s activities. We would all like to have you with us.

DID YOU ENJOY TONIGHT’S PRODUCTION?

If so, why not ring your friends and tell them. The season’s a short one, bookings are available at Carson Reids Menswear, and be sure not to miss out.

Your friends will be glad you told them – So will we!
