‘The Fantasticks” is described by the authors as “a musical parable about Love” with a story suggested by the Edmund Rostand play “Les Romanesques”.

Since the New York opening on May 3rd. 1960, the show has played more than 2650 performances, thus beating the “longest run” records previously set by “My Fair Lady” and “The Threepenny Opera”.

“The Fantasticks” is the first complete musical produced by the Napier Repertory Players.
