Closing Chorus to
“THE FRIVS RADIO TIMES SHOW”

VERSE:
Goodnight Sweatheart, everybody sings,
You’ll hear it everywhere she goes.
We think that it is wrong,
And so we made a song,
That says goodnight to everyone we know.

CHORUS:
Goodnight everyone, you’ve earned your daily bread,
Don’t be late in the morning,
Goodnight and go to bed.

VERSE:
Goodnight to all the sailors who sail upon the foam,
If you’ve a wife in every port,
Where is your home sweet home?
Goodnight to all the soldiers,
We hope you’re feeling bright,
When the sergeant major comes around
To kiss you all goodnight.

CHORUS:
Goodnight everyone, you’ve earned your daily bread,
Don’t be late in the morning,
Goodnight and go to bed.

THIS HAS BEEN A NAPIER FRIVOLITY MINSTRELS PRODUCTION

A Message from our President

It is with great pleasure I welcome you to “The Frivs Theatre” for our first ever “Theatre Restaurant”.

I am particularly pleased that this opening of our Theatre is in conjunction with “The Frivs” 85th Jubilee, to be held later this year on October 9-10.

Many hours of voluntary labour and skills have been set aside by our loyal members, and the production you will witness tonight, I am sure, you will enjoy.

“The Frivs” say a big thank you to all who have helped to make this a success.

To you our audience, thanks for being with [us] tonight.

I must remind you not to miss our 1981 Jubilee Minstrel Show and Pantomime Cinderella at the Napier Municipal Theatre in October.

John Ferguson.
