THE YEAR’S ACTIVITIES AND GENERAL INFORMATION

FEBRUARY   School teachers took over the cleaning of the school building

MARCH   Swimming Baths discussed.

MAY  6th:  Biennial Meeting.

JULY  30th:  Combined Schools Sports at Waiwhare – Otamauri, Sherenden, Crownthorpe and Waiwhare – 122 children.  Large number of parents attended.

AUGUST  12th:  School roll closed for a period by the Education Board
30th:  Accidental death of Bill Tuhaka.

OCTOBER   New classroom erected.
Mrs H Marshall took the children to town in the bus on Saturday mornings for swimming.

NEEDLEWORK:  Mrs Foster then Mrs Patterson.

PRIZES PRESENTED BY:  Mrs M Ward.
