Letter From Emma Nelson

January 14th

Dearest Mollie

We are so sorry to part with M[?] – dear little girl – She has been the greatest help and comfort to us – especially to me, and she does everything so quietly and sweetly – no fuss but always on the look out for anything she can do. I am glad to have had her quite by herself – one gets to know her better. Con[?] will tell you how much better Hilda is – tho’ she is far from well.  [?] will require care – She has had a miserable week, poor child, but I am truly thankful she is better, Good night dear –

Yrs lovingly
E C Nelson.
