My dear Molly

I hope you are getting some rest after the strenuous time you must have had before the wedding. This is just a few lines to tell you how much we enjoyed the wedding. I thought you & Harry were wonderful. It must have been a great strain for you both & Harrys deafness must have been very trying for him too. I was so glad to see Constance looking so happy. Do hope the motor car case will go satisfactorily for her.

We have had a very nice little holiday. We stayed one night with Amy Barnicoat at

Kimbolton & then came here. The boys were very pleased to see us, they both look very well & are getting much more sociable. We are taking back a very good looking boat that goes by steam engine which Hugh has made in the workshop at school. We spent last evening with the Nelson Macleans. She is such a nice girl & very capable. We are going to the Curries tonight & home early tomorrow morning. I have not seen a description of the wedding in the Dominion yet. I wonder which paper Mrs Acland represented.

Please don’t bother to answer this. Jack has just taken the boys back to school. We had Punch Nelson for dinner. He is very quiet. We had Russell Chambers and John Giblin for tea. They were a good deal easier

Yours affectionately

Esther Nelson
