Waikoko fund gets $25,000 in insurance

An insurance cover payout of $25,000 has boosted the A and P Society’s Waikoko building fund to $35,662. The society has already acknowledged donations of $7800 and with additional donations, including $485 from anonymous donors, the public subscription to the fund totals $10,662.

Added to this is the $25,000 cover for Waikoko House which the society has been told will be paid out in full.

Further donations received by the society are: – Mr and Mrs J. M. Chambers, Havelock North, $500; Mr R. M. Bell, Waipawa, $300; de Gruchy family, Taupo, Mrs E. M. Nelson, Mr A. R. H. Absolom $200 each; Pattullo farming partnership $112; Bon Marche Ltd, Hastings, Mrs Rosemary Absolom, P. W. Giblin, T. J. Fourneau, Miss L. G. Hogg, H. A. Robinson $100 each; Keirunga Garden Society, Mrs H. N. Swinburn, M. Waterworth, Hastings Motors Ltd $50 each; Process Signs Ltd $25; Mrs A. D. Mathieson, Miss D. M. Knapp $20 each.
